Welcome to episode 13 of the Inspired Proficiency podcast with your host- Ashley Uyaguari! Inspired Proficiency is podcast that explores the world of language teachers, and the tricks, tips, games, resources and inspiration they recommend using in your classroom.
In this episode Ashley is joined by Kara Jacobs, a teacher from New Hampshire with 20 years’ experience under her belt. Kara used to rely on teaching out of a textbook, but has transitioned to a more comprehensible input and language acquisition style of teaching. In this episode Ashley and Kara talk about using a song or music video as a story in the classroom, and how to leverage that music video as a content rich teaching resource.

Ashley is also hosting a workshop on January 29 in Tyngsborough Massachusetts. Followed up with a workshop on January 30 in Nashua New Hampshire.
